Callie has been committing filk since she was exposed at VikingCon in the
mid 80's. In 1997, she and Cat Faber formed Echo's Children and over the
next 7 years, 4 CDs were produced as well as the EC Songbook that Callie
produced to ensure the viral spread. It Worked! In addition to her
recordings with EC, Callie has also appeared on Steve's Reap The Wind CD
and his newest which is still to be released), Blake Hodgetts Blind Sight,
and with Leslie Fish for Lock and Load. Callie is a mainstay of filk in
the PacificNorthWest and we couldn't think of a more appropriate person
to ToastMistress Conflikt's Opening Convention.
